All quotations provided for freight, transportation, and clearing are based on current tariffs, exchange rates, and port charges. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if underlying costs change before the shipment is finalized.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients are responsible for all applicable customs duties, taxes, port storage fees, and demurrage charges.
Invoices must be paid in full within the agreed payment terms. We reserve the right to hold cargo or documents (exercise a lien) until all outstanding payments are settled.
Third-Party Actions: While we coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and customs authorities, we are not liable for delays, damages, or losses caused by the actions, omissions, or negligence of these third parties.
Cargo Insurance: Abbas Juma Clearing & Forwarding LLC does not automatically provide cargo insurance. We strongly advise clients to secure comprehensive transit insurance for their goods. We are not liable for loss or damage to un-insured cargo.
Maximum Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services shall be strictly limited to the service fees paid to us for the specific transaction in question.
We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, severe weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of war, strikes, port congestions, or sudden changes in government/customs regulations.
